The Kjelgaard Family

Okay it looks like I've already been tagged. Just some random /weird facts:

1) I like to try and fix things and make things with my hands. My next project is to make a Transformer costume for my little boy out of cardboard. I'm also trying to fix my computer and my Ipod mini.

2) Took singing lessons last year and would like to start back up again once my children get a little older and I don't have to pay so much for daycare. That doesn't mean I'm very good. It just means I'm not as bad as I used to be.

3) I have never been shopping during Black Friday. I was hoping to change that this year, but I have to work on Friday so we will see.

4) I work as a programmer analyst with a company that outsources Benefits Administration. Basically I play on the computer all day. (You would think that would allow me time to do a blog, but you would be surprised)

5) I enjoy music very much. One of my favorite things to do especially when stressed is to go play the piano. I did use to play the clarinet in High School and Junior High, but that was never something I really got into. The main reason I continued playing the clarinet in High School was because of a boy. Kerry and Derek probably both know who I'm talking about.

6) I've always wanted to learn to play the drums. When I was younger I use to get a cool whip container and put a string through the top to put around my neck and I would use utensils to play it. I would also love to learn to play the guitar.

7) The only places I have ever been outside of the US is short trip to Canada one afternoon and living in Japan for 1 1/2 years on a LDS mission.
